ORDER DEADLINES: Order online by midnight Pacific Standard Time (11:59 PM PST) for next day local Los Angeles delivery or in-store pick-up. You may also schedule your order for a future date.
CHANGE IN DELIVERY: Once an order is placed, we are generally unable to adjust local delivery or shipping dates, especially when desired delivery or ship date is within 24 hours. Please contact a Customer Care team member for immediate assistance: firstname.lastname@example.org.
ARRIVAL DATE: Select the date you want your order to SHIP OUT from our Bake Shop in Los Angeles, allowing for a 2 day transit time. Do not select the date you want your order to arrive.
We ship all orders via UPS 2-day air with an estimated arrival date of Wednesday through Friday. If you need your order to be overnighted or to arrive on a specific delivery date, not offered online, please contact us prior to placing your order at email@example.com.
NO SIGNATURE UPON ARRIVAL: UPS does not require a signature for our packages, which means that your order will be left at the arrival destination as long as the delivery person feels comfortable doing so. If the first attempt is unsuccessful, a second attempt will be made as soon as possible, usually on the following business day. We suggest the product be brought inside and stored properly as soon as possible upon arrival.
DELAYED SHIPMENTS: We do everything possible to ensure your order arrives on time. However, because we use third party shipping carriers, we are not responsible for shipping delays once your order is in transit.
Once a package ships, there are factors out of our control that may come up and cause a delay in delivery. Our carriers may experience delays due to weather, mechanical errors, or natural disasters. If your order is delayed due to one of these outside factors, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
ORDER EARLY: If you’re planning for a special occasion, we recommend choosing an arrival date 1-2 days early (so for weekend events, we recommend arrival on Thursday) so you can be worry-free! Your sweets will stay fresh with proper storage & care.
NOT-SHIPPABLE ITEMS: Some products including Cakes, Cupcakes, Flowers, and Balloons are only available in the Los Angeles service area at this time. We do not ship these items. You will be unable to select shipping and delivery information if your desired zip code falls outside of our Los Angeles service area.

RECIPIENT MUST BE PRESENT: You must be present to receive your order for Local Delivery. Our delivery drivers will contact the phone number provided in advance of delivery. Delivery drivers will make their presence known upon arrival either by ringing bell/doorbell, knocking on door or pressing a call box. Delivery drivers will wait up to 10 minutes at your delivery address before an order is deemed undeliverable. If you live in an apartment building with lobby access, please note that we cannot leave your delivery unattended in the lobby.
UNATTENDED DELIVERY: If you are unable to meet your delivery driver at your delivery address and express to your delivery driver in advance that you would like your delivery left unattended, Sweet E’s is not responsible for any damage, theft or loss to your delivery.
DELIVERY TO RESTAURANTS, SCHOOLS, HOSPITALS, & OTHER BUSINESS: Please note that a recipient must be available to accept the delivery upon driver’s arrival. Please let your delivery driver know in advance for special delivery instructions. If you would like your order left unattended at a business, Sweet E’s is not responsible for any damage, theft or loss to your delivery.
RE-DELIVERY: Please note that a re-delivery fee will apply for failed delivery attempts. Re-delivery fees will be due prior to re-delivery at the same rate as your original delivery fee with a minimum of $19.95. Same day re-deliveries may be available depending on our delivery schedule, but are not guaranteed to be an option. You may also pick up at our Bake Shop for no additional fee.
