Gold Painted Cake
Make the moment gleam. Hand brushed metallic detailing sweeps across smooth buttercream or fondant, catching the light like jewelry and turning your dessert table into a statement scene. We build each tier with crisp edges, then layer on edible gold accents in soft washes or bold geometric strokes to match your celebration style. The look is opulent, the flavors are indulgent, and the structure is engineered for clean, confident cuts.
Choose a single flavor or a tiered trio, from classic vanilla with fresh berry to dark chocolate with salted caramel. We size the silhouette to your guest count so proportions feel balanced in photos and in person. Delivery across Los Angeles keeps timelines calm, and our protective packaging shields every shimmer.
Styling is simple. Set the cake on a matte pedestal, use neutral linens, and add warm candlelight so the brushwork glows. For variety without clutter, pair with macarons, truffles, or cupcakes brushed in a touch of metallic to echo the centerpiece.
For couples planning a glamorous reception, a single mention of gold painted wedding cake on your menu or signage tells guests they are in for something refined. Prefer modern minimalism. Ask for delicate veining and a slim band of gold at the base for a quieter luxury cue.
We are happy to coordinate tones to match your rings, stationery, or florals, and we can add an understated plaque for names or a date. Share your palette, servings, and venue window, and we will deliver a polished showpiece that feels timeless and tastes unforgettable.
CAKE CARE
Keep your cake looking as good as it tastes!
HANDLING YOUR CAKE
Keep your cake box level with one hand on the bottom. This will prevent the layers from shifting and the sides of the box from denting your cake.
DRIVING WITH YOUR CAKE
Transport your cake in the flattest part of your vehicle. Do not place your cake on a seat as this may cause the layers to shift, or in an enclosed trunk without airflow. Please drive carefully with no sudden stops that may cause your cake to move. Our cakes are fragile, drive cautiously!
STORING YOUR CAKE
Your cake is delicate and sensitive to heat. The real butter we use in our frostings make our cakes more likely to melt in warm temperatures. Keep your cake cool by refrigerating it until 1 hour prior to serving. Do not freeze.
Do not let your cake sit out for more than two hours, or overnight. It may melt.
LEFTOVER CAKE
Extra cake?! Lucky, you have a sweet snack for the next day :). Simply store your leftover cake in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to seven days. To freeze your cake, cover any open slices in parchment paper to preserve moisture and then wrap the entire cake as tightly as possible in plastic wrap. Next, put the plastic-wrapped cake in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 3 months.
